Anand Mahindra shares incredible drone shots of Vande Bharat train running underneath Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway

India has set ambitious goals for the improvement of its infrastructure, and the amount of funding provided in the Union Budget 2023 suggests that the government is committed to meeting these lofty objectives. Anand Mahindra, the chairman of the Mahindra Group, posted a video on Twitter on Monday that featured amazing drone pictures of the Bengaluru–Mysuru motorway and demonstrated the development of India's infrastructure.

Mahindra affirmed that the images serve as a potent signal of how India is developing infrastructure that is up to par with that of the rest of the world.

"Drone footage of the Vande Bharat train travelling beneath the new Bengaluru–Mysuru motorway. Anand Mahindra tweeted about the film, calling it "a striking visual depiction of how global-standard infrastructure is reshaping India.

Over 8 lakh people have watched the movie, and about 30,000 people have given it a like. "Wow! What a fantastic view! India's infrastructure is developing quickly, a viewer said on the video.

It will raise productivity and lower operating expenses. The government and the people both gain in the long run from high-quality public infrastructure, according to another viewer of the film.

Union Minister for Finance Nirmala Sitharaman declared during a Budget 2023 speech that the capital expenditure has been increased to a staggering Rs. 10,000,000 crore (US$ 1.5 trillion), which will be spent over five years, while emphasising that the push towards infrastructure has a multiplier effect on the economy.

"The 33% year-over-year growth is just just less than the 35% increase from the previous year. During the presentation of the Union Budget for 2023–24, Sitharaman stated that the ratio of capital expenditures to GDP, which increased to 2.7% in 2022–2023, is projected to be 3.3% in the upcoming fiscal year.

To ensure last-mile connectivity for the ports, coal, steel, fertiliser, and foodgrains sectors, the government has identified 100 essential transport infrastructure projects that would be given priority.

She added that investments in infrastructure have a significant multiplier effect on growth and jobs, saying "They will be taken up on priority with an investment of 75,000 crores, including 15,000 crores from private sources."
